In Progress...

We look to young people as sources of renewal, but they’re mirrors also, and reflect where communities succeed and where we fail. Cambridge is a city that tries hard and cares about the right things - but as development and innovation grow, existing digital, education, medical, immigration related and other gaps widen. Schools, city government, the public health department and policy makers try to address problems but too often get in their own way by choosing approaches that look good on paper but end up causing harm.

A saint, by definition, is an ordinary person who lives a courageous and good life, and because of this, is worthy of imitation. Book of Saints is a preservation of culture. It’s a composition, a hymn– a visual archive of portraits, videos and everyday landscapes venerating our young people – carrying the weight of our expectations, broken systems and good intentions gone wrong.
